Business Meeting and Workshop on Safety and Security in the Community
Saturday, May 21
The Conference workshop will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will focus on inspiring Forum members and guests through information and suggestions to better understand and act on crucial community and safety issues. Panelists will explore the issues of community review boards and policing, domestic violence and women who are incarcerated, policy impacts and the role of the legislature, county commissions, and cities. An overarching theme will be the importance and significance of mental health issues and policy. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the issues with the panelists in small groups.
