What is the best career decision that you have made?

To be open to opportunities that came my way and to move forward with them with enthusiasm, especially joining a small town law firm with supportive lawyers, joining the Court of Appeals and contributing to its important work.

If you had to do it over again, what would you do differently?

Spend even more time with my family.

How have women helped further your career?

Women have contributed to every step in my career by always being insightful and supportive.  Women’s organizations have helped me grow and given me courage.  One good women friend even introduced me to and supported me for the opportunity to become a judge.
