Spring 2015 Meeting: Immigration

The Women’s Forum will meet on May 15-16, 2015 at the NC State University Club in Raleigh.

Dr. Jim Johnson of UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, Chapel Hill will give the keynote presentation on Demographics, Issues, and Implications.

Janice Cole will then moderate a panel discussion on Selected Policies: Their Implications and Impact on Undocumented Immigrants and their Families. Panelists include

  • Meghan Deutch-Blanco, Legal Aid Battered Immigrant Project
  • Marty Rosenbluth, Elon School of Law, Humanitarian Immigration Law Clinic
  • Kate Woomer-Deters, NC Justice Center, Eastern Carolina  Immigrants’ Rights Project
  • Jose and Elvia Rodrigues, Mount Olive student and graduate, foreign nationals will tell their stories.
